I was thinking about my first post for the New Year. I celebrated the New Year at a family wedding last night in Cohasset MA. What a beautiful town and a beautiful place to have a wedding. The reception was held at The Red Lion Inn in Cohasett. I have never been there, but hope to return again someday.
I was also thinking about my resolutions for 2010 and while I was thinking about that, and catching up on some blogs I came across a great article about not making New Years Resolutions, but instead set New Years Goals. I really like this idea. If you are anything like me, or like most people, we start out with great intentions, but by February we all forget about the resolutions and go on with life as it was before.
So on that note, I am going to give it a try. I am going to put together a list of goals for myself personally and professionally for 2010. I will let you all know how it goes. I am hoping that setting goals will work better for me this year than resolutions did in the past. I know that one goal for me will be to continue with my blog posts even after my Teaching and Learning class is over!
I hope that everyone has a wonderful 2010! Happy New Year.

Great idea! Thanks for sharing! Setting goals instead of making resolutions sounds like the way to go... maybe I will give it a shot as well!
